Computer industry CEO's Bill Gates and Larry Ellison have different styles of management but they have similar goals to dominate the software industry. Ellison's Oracle is developing a simple system called Network Computers that Ellison hopes will replace the PC, while Gates' Microsoft software dominates the PC market.
"MICROSOFT'S job is to get Windows everywhere," said Larry Ellison on September 16th. "It's our job to stop them." The founder of Oracle, the world's second-largest software company, is taking pot-shots at the largest one, and loving every minute of it.
