In a new report, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) ranks more than 200 economies according to their performance in mobile telecommunications and Internet technologies, as well as their ability to take advantage of future developments in these fields. In all, 26 indicators covering the quality and extent of network infrastructure, network usage and market conditions were used to construct the ITU's index.
