Blue Chip founder-director fails to face angry creditors

Blue Chip's founder-director Mark Bryers will be reported to the "appropriate authorities" after failing to show at a creditors' meeting in Auckland.
Liquidator Jeff Meltzer said it was an offence under the Companies Act for Bryers not to attend yesterday's meeting, attended by about 300 angry creditors, and he would be reporting his absence.
Two directors of the failed company did attend, but refused to answer questions from creditors, saying their refusal was on legal advice.
