Broadcasting & Cable, May, 1994

The Grand Alliance HDTV system proposal won high grades from computer industry executives reviewing the system during a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seminar last week. Asked to vote on whether they thought the alliance should proceed with its design plan, computer industry representatives gave the project a thumbs up, with no opposing votes.
