Syndicators launching shows for kids and teens in fall 1995 will likely face one of the most competitive markets ever as the new WB and UPN networks take off. WB's 60-- and counting--stations are committed to a three-hour Saturday morning kids block and a one-hour morning strip that will begin in the fall, while UPN's nearly 100 stations will receive a one-hour Sunday morning block that will start at the same time.

That situation has been made worse in some markets by the loss of a station that traditionally ran kids programing as a result of affiliation switching.
