Empower America, with support of senators Nunn and Lieberman, urges producers to clean up topics The same group that shamed Time Warner into selling its gangsta rap music subsidiary has now set its sights on daytime talk shows. Flanked by senators Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.) and Sam Nunn (D-Ga.), Empower America's William Bennett called on producers of talk shows--including Time Warner, Gannett, Paramount, Fox, CBS, Columbia TriStar Studios and Tribune--to clean up their daytime talk shows.
