International feeds to boost carrier, teleport profits More than 3 billion people worldwide are expected to watch next summer's Olympic games during the 19 days of events. To accommodate the demand for international satellite feeds, Comsat is lining up space segment on nine Intelsat birds for broadcasters in Asia and Europe.

"As the U.S. signatory for Intelsat, we are working with many of the international broadcasters who hold rights in their countries," says Comsat's David Liddle, director of broadcast services.
