District attorneys are filing suit over installation price quotes After investigating cable giant TCI for consumer fraud, the district attorney's offices of two San Francisco--area counties are planning to file a consumer protection lawsuit against the MSO. Alameda and Santa Clara counties, along with the California Attorney General's office, investigated allegations that TCI misled the public by quoting installation prices for unwired homes to those with wired homes, a statement from the Santa Clara County District Attorney's office said.
