Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc.'s broadcast cash flow increased to $52.8 million, a 99.2% gain. Net broadcast revenue went up 124.5%, and after-tax cash flow rose 64.9%, to $26 million, but there still was a net loss of $3.3 million. Pro forma cash flow was estimated to be down 4%-5%. Loss of network affiliations in Raleigh, N.C., and Birmingham, Ala.

(NBC and Fox, respectively), and the lack of growth caused by advertisers' budgets focused on the Olympics were cited as reasons for the poor pro forma showing.
