Telco wireless system prepares to square off against cable and DBS HOLLYWOOD Southern California is shaping up to be ground-zero next year in the battle of the multi-channel delivery systems. By next spring, if all goes according to optimistic projections, consumers in Los Angeles and Orange counties will be able to comparison shop among at least three relatively equally matched subscription TV providers: cable, wireless cable and DBS.
