Broadcasting & Cable, August, 1998
Microsoft suffered a setback in the Justice Department's antitrust suit against it last week when Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson ruled that Justice can depose 17 Microsoft executives in the discovery phase of the case. Jackson struck down Microsoft's request to limit that number, along with the amount of time Justice attorneys can take to depose Bill Gates.
Meanwhile, Microsoft is expected to make a motion for dismissal of the suit this week.
