As it continues on its transition to near-video-on-demand, Viewer's Choice will start uplinking to three C-band transponders on Loral Skynet's Telstar 5 on Oct. 1. With the switch to Telstar 5, Viewer's Choice will be using four satellites to provide a 36-channel NVOD service to its affiliates.
Viewer's Choice says that this change will allow its affiliates to provide better choice and service.
