CMGI Inc., the largest Lycos shareholder, indicated it may not support the USA Networks-Lycos deal (see Internet). Deidre Moore, a spokeswoman for the Andover, Mass. company, was quoted in press reports late last week saying CMGI CEO David Wetherell would vote against the deal unless Lycos' stock price returned to "at least' its Monday closing price of approximately $127 per share.

Wetherell had earlier issued a statement saying CMGI was "generally supportive" of the deal but reserved the right to ''reassess its position.'' The stock was trading at $103 a share on Friday.
