Liberate Technologies will integrate RealNetworks' RealPlayer G2 into Liberate's software, which will enable Net access via TV set-tops and PC devices. The strategic partnership between Real and Liberate, a unit of Oracle Corp. formerly called Network Computer Inc., advances the already ubiquitous profile of the RealPlayer streaming technology.

Liberate's investors include Comcast, Cox Communications and Rogers Communications.
