The FCC last week issued rules on how it will handle complaints against satellite companies that are still carrying TV stations without consent six months after satellite TV reform passed Congress.(Brief Article)

According to that law, satellite companies have a six-month grace period, which ends May 29, to carry any local station, after which satellite companies must get permission, stop carriage or face stiff penalties. The FCC said in its order that it would make final decisions on complaints within 45 days of a filing.
