Over lunch at The Palm in Washington Last Thursday, former FCC Chairman Jim Quello gave his blessing to Jonathan Adelstein (above), nominee for the vacant fifth seat on the FCC. Quello, who has many friends at the FCC and on the Hill, thinks the aide to Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle will win Senate confirmation.

"He's a compassionate Democrat with a sensible bipartisan approach," he says. "He's a pretty good, solid guy."
