It has taken a while, but the digital newsroom appears to be ready for NAB, and not just as an impressive technology demonstration. "Last year, we estimated, based on industry reports, that only 3% to 5% of all newsrooms had transitioned from analog to digital," says Roland Boucher, director of marketing, Digital News Production, Thomson Broadcast Solutions.
