NBC News star Katie Couric will host the 63rd Annual Peabody Awards set for May 17 in New York. Couric received a Peabody in 2000 for her five-part series "Confronting Colon Cancer" for NBC's Today. Her husband, Jay Monahan, died of the disease in 1998 at age 42.
