New Line, Nelson in distrib deal After months of negotiations, Nelson Holdings International Ltd., the parent of Nelson Entertainment, has entered into an agreement with New Line Cinema for the exclusive distribution of certain Nelson films and its 500-title home video library. New Line also would receive domestic and international video distribution rights to Castle Rock Entertainment films, released theatrically through Columbia Pictures, and will provide management services to Nelson.

Castle Rock, Rob Reiner's production company, is 30% owned by Columbia Pictures. The deal is expected to close on or about May 16, but no later than June 3. The complex agreement, involving $15 million in cash and 150,000 shares of New Line stock, would terminate...
