Entertainment companies listed in Business Week Top 1000 Five entertainment companies ranked within the Business Week list of the 1,000 most valuable companies, as published in a special issue. Topping the entertainment companies was Walt Disney, ranking 33rd, and posting a 5% increase in market value from last year's list.
The company's total market value rose to $16.5 billion. Blockbuster, positioned 314 on the list, showed the highest growth of entertainment companies with a 72% market value increase to more than $2 billion. Also showing value increases was King World Productions - which grew 18% to $1.2 billion. King World placed 479 on the list.
