Marvel comic book stars the X-Men are on the rise in the home video market, and Best Film & Video is using the characters as the centerpiece for its first-ever consumer rebate offer. Released last month, Pryde of the X-Men contains two $2.50 rebate coupons that consumers can redeem by purchasing two other catalog titles in the Marvel video line.

Thirteen Marvel titles, including Spiderman and The Incredible Hulk, have been available for about a year, priced at $14.95 for tapes duplicated in the SP mode and $9.95 for EP.
