Strand Home Video has shaped up plans for Jennie Garth's Body in Progress with the added muscle of a $5 rebate with the purchase of 7Up and a consumer gift promotion sponsored by Nike.

The Seven-Up Co. will offer a $5 rebate to consumers who buy the video plus two 12-packs, four six-packs or four 2-liter bottles of any 7Up product. The video, available since Dec. 10, sells for $19.98; the rebate offer expires Dec. 31, 1993. A 60-second commercial for 7Up also appears at the end of the video.

For its part, Nike will produce 20,000 limited-edition posters, featuring the 20-year-old star of Beverly Hills 90210, as a gift with purchase. Strand intends to select two or three retail chains to offer the poster on an exclusive basis, according to Don...
