Nuon lights for Toshiba.(Brief Article)

VM Labs Inc., developer of the Nuon technology that enables DVD-Video machines to play games and connect to the Web, said Toshiba will be the second manufacturer to release a Nuon-enhanced player. The Mountain View, Calif.-based company also has signed a deal with Hasbro Interactive under which the game maker will publish 128-bit Nuon-compatible games.

DVD International will distribute the first Hasbro titles. In addition to adding game-playing and Internet capabilities to players, Nuon enhances standard DVD features such as the zoom function and menus.
