* Some retailers reportedly did not receive their orders of MGM Home Entertainment's This is Spinal Tap in time for the title's Sept. 12 street date, with most problems appearing to involve the DVD. Reports surfaced about two weeks ago that VHS and DVD copies of the cult mockumentary were missing the superimposed character identifications in the film (VB, 9-11).

MGM said the error had been corrected and product would be delivered "on or near" the street date. However, while some retailers such as Musicland Stores got their product in time, others including Express.com, Amazon.com and some independent stores were empty-handed on street date.
