Metabyte Networks, a personal-TV technology and service company, will team with the Starz Encore Group to "personalize" the subscription video-on-demand services offered by the company's premium movie channels. MbTV can deliver services such as personal channels and pay-per-view as well as targeted advertising and "t-coupons." Starz Encore's VOD service allows viewers to watch movies with full VCR functionality for a monthly fee.
