VHS, DVD and box set goes fast in first few days Toy Story 2 moved swiftly off some retail shelves last week, fueled by especially deep discounting at major retailer Best Buy. The consumer electronics chain priced the title on VHS at $12.99--an unusual $5 below its $17.95 minimum advertised price--and supported the move with print advertising.
The accompanying DVD two-pack, which also includes the original Toy Story, and the three-disc "Ultimate Toy Box" featuring six hours of extras were being advertised for sale at $19.99 and $39.99, respectively.
