SegaNet is offering $100,000 in cash and prizes and Super Bowl trips as part of its promotion of the NFL 2K1 online Dreamcast game.
The Walk the Walk contest is the first online console gaming competition. Four reams of four players will be drawn randomly each week for six consecutive weeks to battle against Team SegaNet, a group of NFL 2K1 experts. Registration ends Jan. 4.
A second contest, Talk the Talk, challenges teams of four to submit, in 250 words or less, why they think their ream's NFL 2K1 skills are better than Team SegaNet's. All entries must be received by Jan. 1.
The last part of the promotion is an online sweepstakes called the Road to Tampa Sweepstakes, which runs through Jan 1.
