There is nothing that any technology can do to enhance the unfunny remake of Bedazzled (Fox, color, PG-13, 108 min. plus supplements, Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, anamorphic widescreen, $26.98), but that didn't stop Fox from trying. The DVD version of the Harold Ramis comedy has the distinction of being the first feature film from a major studio to offer NUON interactive enhancements.

The extra features need a machine equipped with NUON technology. Some of Bedazzled's Nuon features simply extend the supplemental features typically included on a special edition DVD. The Hyper Slides option, for instance, presents still frames of images from the movie alongside a picture of the art design for the scene, while the Viddies setting offers snippets of scenes that...
