Columbia TriStar Home Video is going online to promote its May 22 VHS rental and DVD sell-through release of the K2-set action adventure Vertical Limit. Consumers who log onto CTHE.com in early May will be entered into a national sweepstakes giving away such prizes as a limited edition Ford Explorer Sport Trac, a trip for two to Nepal and Sony DVD and CD players.

With the contest, Columbia is trying to reach the 18 to 35 male demographic, the main audience for the theatrical release of the film, said marketing VP Tracey Colona-Garvin.
