* Sony Computer Entertainment America will begin halving prices on older, big-selling titles for its PlayStation 2. Titles that are at least nine months old and have sold at least 400,000 copies will be reduced to $24.99 from $49.99. The discounted titles will be offered in a "Greatest Hits" series, including Sony and third-party games.
The first four will be ATV Offroad Fury, Twisted Metal: Black, Dark Cloud and Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec. Sony is expected to soon cut the price of the PS2 console, which retails for $299.
