In December 2003, Sony Online Entertainment will release a sequel to its wildly popular online game EverQuest, introducing a new character class for players who wish to advance through the fantasy game without participating in violent tasks. The business model is expected to be the same, with users buying a version of the game from retailers and then paying upward of $12.95 per month for online interaction with other characters.
