After many delays, the Back to the Future trilogy is getting closer to its much-anticipated release on DVD.
Director Robert Zemeckis has just completed recording his audio commentaries with producer Bob Gale, a Video Premieres Academy member, for each of the three Back to the Future movies. The trilogy is now slated to be released by Universal Studios Home Video in the U.S. in December; just weeks after the studio's Oct. 22 DVD debut of E.T. the Extro-Terrestrial (VP, May).
The release of one of the last hotly desired unreleased movie series on DVD will follow a September debut of the trilogy overseas, but that disc will not offer as many extras, according to sources. Universal has set up a Web site at www.bttfmovie.com to promote the video...
