Vivendi Universal Games will publish and distribute all Fox Interactive videogame titles not already covered by distribution deals. The Fox gaming group will continue to develop new titles autonomously, but Universal will oversee and manage the games. VU will also hold future rights to sequels for a number of top titles.
Financial details of the deal, which expands a co-publishing agreement announced in 2001, were not disclosed. Titles from 10 Fox gaming franchises, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Simpsons, will fall under the agreement. Specific titles were not announced.
