In the first such deal between a Hollywood studio and a Canadian cable operator, MGM has signed an agreement to showcase its wares on Canada's largest cable video-on-demand operator, Rogers Cable. Rogers, which services Toronto, will have 25 MGM titles with other catalog and new-release offerings on the way.

The initial lineup includes Crocodile Hunter, Barbershop, 24 Hour Party People and Killing Me Softly.
