Is AOL about co go AWOL? No wonder global media companies pay top execs multimillion-dollar salaries. It's those suits who come up with great ideas to solve a company's ills like dropping AOL from the name AOL Time Warner. Sure, that makes perfect sense. Suddenly with the name Time Warner, the company's stock will rebound and those millions of consumers who are dropping their subscriptions will flock back to AOL, er, America Online, Apparently this suggestion was raised by AOL's top exec Jon Miller.
Get this: He thinks the association with Time Warner is causing AOL's problems. He thinks his online division is taking a bad rap for the problems at Time Warner. Apparently he doesn't think the federal investigation into the company's accounting...
