* Lions Gate Entertainment last week completed its estimated $200 million acquisition of Artisan Entertainment and immediately began integrating the two companies, with Artisan Home Entertainment president Steve Beeks poised to lead the newly combined Lions Gate Home Entertainment. Formal titles were unavailable at presstime for Beeks and for Glenn Ross, who is expected to maintain a senior role as president of the Family Home Entertainment label.

Ron Schwartz, who was Lions Gate's executive VP of home video sales, and Jed Grossman, Artisan's executive VP of sales, are both to remain in senior sales positions.
