* Lions Gate is adding to its slate of my. inspired DVD movies with Dragons Fire and Ice, a Ode based on the Mega Bloks Dragons toy line. The CGI-animated film, produced by Bardel Entertainment, will hit retail in the fourth quarter on the Family Home Entertainment label. "With its engaging back story and compelling characters, the Dragons line lends itself to being a very compelling animated film," said FHE president Glenn Ross.
Hega Bloks is a major corner to LEGO, which last year partnered with Miramax on the CGI-animated movie Bionide: Mask of Light based on the popular Bionicle toys.
