First Look Studios has agreed to purchase DEJ Prods.--Blockbuster Entertainment's production, acquisition and distribution company--for $25 million in cash. Formed earlier this year with the merger of First Look Media and Capital Entertainment, First Look Studios will get the 225 films in the DEJ library, bringing its total catalog to 750 films.

First Look has been distributing DEJ productions under a multi-picture joint venture arrangement since late last year. First Look Studios CEO Henry Winterstern negotiated the deal with Blockbuster's head of strategic planning, Frank Paci.
