Internet movie download service Movielink will partner with Akimbo to allow consumers to watch Movielink Internet downloads on their TV sets. Movielink films will be down-loadable and playable through new Akimbo players, which download video content from the Internet for TV playback and are set to launch at retail this spring.

Akimbo has partnered with RCA-parent company Thomson to design and manufacture the new co-branded player, which will be priced at $199 with rebate.
