MTS has identified asset management company Great American Group as the leading bidder for its Tower Records chain. Financial terms of Great American's bid were not disclosed. Competing bids for Tower will still be considered through Sept. 26, according to MTS. Great American is best known for helping retailers and other companies increase cash flow by strategic store closings and product liquidations.
