Amazon 's new video download service, "Unbox," is actually pretty box.

Should that be boxy? Or box-centric? Maybe box driven. Yeah, box driven. In the sense that it appears to have been created to open another stream for revenue--if there's any to be had in the new download business--while keeping the ground as level as possible for the boxes it makes so much money mailing to consumers.

The Unbox service is Amazon through-and-through. It hangs off the main Amazon site, rather than being cast as some younger, hipper sister URL. It looks like Amazon.
