LFG&E INTERNATIONAL has introduced the Triton Powerpak 150, a system that collects landfill gas, cleans it, and converts it to energy. The system is designed to consume approximately 50 standard cubic feet per minute of landfill gas at 45 percent methane, and will continuously produce up to 150 kilowatts of electricity, according to the company.

The system also reduces carbon dioxide and methane emissions, the company said. The Triton Powerpak 150 comes with blower, fuel conditioning system, engine generator and controls.
