Byline: Bruce Geiselman The Bush administration is committed to addressing global climate change issues, but the scientific community needs to learn more about its causes, administration officials told attendees of a three-day climate change conference last week. Critics, however, said the administration refuses to take decisive action to address global warming, which many scientists say is related to emissions of greenhouse gases from industry, automobiles and other sources.
More than 1,200 scientists, environmentalists, industry executives and other experts on global climate change attended the Workshop on the U.S. Climate Change Science Program, a three-day event held last week to discuss the nation's plans for tackling global climate change....
