A waste hauler and a shopping center manager are teaming up this month to collect scrap electronics.
Waste Management Inc.'s subsidiary, Recycle America Alliance LLC, will host electronics recycling events in seven cities throughout the country during the first two weeks of October.
Keep America Beautiful and Simon Property Group Inc. will help coordinate the events, the first of which will take place Oct. 2 in Seattle, Los Angeles and Minneapolis. On Oct. 9, the companies will hold events in Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Miami and Indianapolis.
