Recycled Paper Office Depot hits 75% recycled content Office Depot Inc. has reached a milestone in the amount of post-consumer recycled-content paper used in its Canadian advertising program. The Delray Beach, Fla., office products company used an average of 75 percent post-consumer content in its Canadian advertising insert program in 2004.
The content is the maximum possible with the particular paper stock the company is using, said Tyler Elm, director of environmental affairs for Office Depot. "While many companies have policies promoting the use of environmentally preferable paper, Office Depot continues to lead by example and honor its public commitments in ways that produce tangible, measurable results,'' he said.
