Nutty policy Global warming is without a doubt the most serious environmental issue of our time. We are already seeing an increase in flooding, droughts, the spread of infectious diseases, and the loss of habitat, and this is just the tip of the rapidly melting iceberg. The actions we take now to curb global warming will determine the future of our planet, and a large part of the responsibility falls on the United States' shoulders.

Home to only 5 percent of world population, the U.S. is responsible for 25 percent of the world's carbon dioxide emissions, a large portion of which is emitted by cars. That the EPA is not required to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from cars is nutty. We cannot wait until global warming is unequivocally...
