Ind. company bought for $35 million

General Environmental Management Inc., of Pomona, Calif., has agreed to buy Pollution Control Industries Inc., of East Chicago, Ind.

Both companies provide environmental and waste remediation services.

General Environmental Management agreed to pay $35 million in cash for Pollution Control Industries, and company officials expect the deal to close by Sept. 30, pending regulatory approvals.
