Wells Fargo buys big into green energy.

Byline: Jim Johnson Wells Fargo & Co. is becoming the largest corporate buyer of renewable energy in the United States. The San Francisco-based financial services giant said it will buy renewable energy certificates that support the generation of 550 million kilowatt-hours of wind energy each year for the next three years.
That means the company will offset 40 percent of the company's energy consumption with the wind power certificates.
