More businesses link environment, profits U.S. corporations increasingly are tying profitability to proactive implementation of environmentally preferable building principles and business practices, according to a new survey. Siemens Building Technologies and Siemens USA released the report, "Green Perspective from Corporate America,'' which shows that U.S.

companies have begun incorporating green practices into their strategic business plans. Sixty percent of the companies responding to the survey agreed that environmentally preferable practices and green building would lower operating costs.
