Mich. firm to launch smart, green trash cart.(Michigan)

Byline: Tracy Hayhurst Don't expect to see bumper stickers proclaiming "My trash cart is on the curbside honor roll'' any time soon, but the people at Cascade Engineering are rather proud of their new offspring, the EcoCart. Slated to roll out in the first quarter of next year, the EcoCart has been in the design phases for several years as engineers for the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company worked to find a way to use more recycled plastic in trash carts while maintaining their durability.
